Impact Cowboy Church of Nacogdoches

ICCN is a non-denominational church in Nacogdoches, TX, striving to live out the Biblical command to love God, each other and our neighbors well. This means worshiping and following Jesus Christ not only through our words, but also through the lives we lead.

In 2007 ICCN was started after lots of prayer, fasting, and waiting for the Lord to bring the right people into the startup of the Church. In 2006, Pastor Stan started meeting with Pastor Russ Weaver and Pastor Morris Ivy at Shepherd’s Valley Cowboy Church gleening from them the wisdom that they would impart to us.

Late in 2006 Pastor Stan met Rex Crenshaw, which was the first and founding elder, and they started meeting people and looking for a starting place. They finally found a place two weeks before the startup date. It was called Carrizo Creeks Ranch restaurant.

Church was held at Carrizo Creek Ranch until 2011, when the church outgrew the place. ICCN bought 53 acres and started clearing and building and found our new home right where we were supposed to be. ICCN currently has three buildings, an arena, and pasture lands for livestock. ICCN is looking forward to the future of Nacogdoches County and how ICCN can influence the County around it.

What We Believe

REDEEMED AND RECONCILED

The mission of ICCN is to glorify God by making disciples through the gospel of Jesus Christ. God’s mission and the mission of His Church are inseparably linked. If God’s mission is to be glorified through the redemption and reconciliation of a people, the Church’s mission must orient around the glory of God and seek to glorify Him through redemption and reconciliation.

EMPOWERED
TRANSFORMATION

Our vision is to be a church of grace-filled people, empowered for community transformation and new church formation, so that the Gospel is faithfully transferred from person to person and generation to generation. As Jesus Christ works in and through us to fulfill our mission and pursue our vision, we expect to see results in these areas: Reaching others, Teaching Others, Loving Others, and Discipling to the World.

SACRED
SPACE

The Gospel is ultimately about humanity being restored to God’s community. Only through practicing community will individuals grow fully in the grace and knowledge to be found in Jesus. Furthermore, it is through community that a fragmented world can best witness the power of the Gospel and the nature of God’s work. As a culture of confession, transformation, friendship, forgiveness, justice, power, and love springs up in the lives of normal people, those who don’t know Christ will be compelled to ask: "what is happening?"

MISSIONAL
COMMUNITY

Connect (or "Small") Groups are an essential part of our church, as they provide a place where deeper fellowship and better support for one another can take place. Considering that the early church worshipped in large settings - in the synagogues - as well as in homes, we unite together similarly in order to be in deeper fellowship with God and one another. God has reconciled us not only to Himself but also to each other. This "each other" is called His Church.
